Lactose is the most abundant sugar that occurs naturally in milk. It is broken down into simpler sugars by bacterial enzymes and used up to generate energy in your little one’s body. It also feeds healthy gut bacteria and stimulates them to produce lactic acid, a potent antimicrobial; more lactose stimulates more good bacteria in the gut.

Lactose is also naturally less sweet than corn syrup. To top it off, lactose helps in the absorption of calcium and other minerals.
